There is a stream the runs alongside the house, which was so peaceful and serene to listen to. Also, major bonus…not sure who designed this house, but every single sink in the house has a floor vent at the base of it. So your feet are kept extra toasty when standing near any sink haha. We loved it.

  We were SO happy and comfortable at this treehouse, and it really does feel like a treehouse, with large windows overlooking a peaceful forest. This is the perfect winter home... read more (and I'm sure summer too), you stay toasty warm. There is extra heat you can turn on in the bathroom ceilings, so you're never cold, and some bathrooms have heat blowing onto the tile floor making it feel like a heated floor. Bathrooms were well lit and very clean. I always bring some extra things, but didn't need any of it, the house was well stocked in the kitchen and bathrooms. Appliances, like washer/dryer, dishwasher, all looked brand new. The sauna was perfect to take off the chill and the fireplace was cozy while watching a movie. Our family of 4 with two young teen boys were very happy here and hope to come back. Highly recommend this cozy and beautiful home. We skied at Killington over Thanksgiving. Perfect house to cook a meal, there are even two sinks in the kitchen. Hope to try the smaller mountains.

Loved how all the light switches were labeled. The Host responded within minutes ! Clean towels, sheets, rugs, kitchen appliances and more. Host had some kitchen supplies, place mats, appliances, an entire section of board/card/ group games. The sauna definitely gave us a spa feel. 10/10 experience. Thank you so much !

House is gorgeous, you just keep finding more and more rooms and things to get into – – hidden gems in the basement- sauna and hot tub – it was great. My partner and I could only stay for 2 nights, it wasn’t enough time, But everything was immaculate, anything you could think of, Meg thought of it first! And BEST PART!! Central AC via Neat cools the entire house very quickly! Room darkening blinds in master were such a beautiful plus and unexpected!
Two issues only, but not game changers:
- Passcode didn’t work when I arrived, couldn’t get a signal out until realized I had to get onto the wifi to contact Meg
- grill caught fire right as we were about to put steaks on— built up grease fire, self contained but unusable unfortunately

We spent our days reading by the fireplace, cooking, playing games/puzzles, and just relaxing and chilling out. Meg provided all the info we needed about the place and was very proactive about local info and recommendations. We had to reach out once for something we needed, and she was highly responsive, helpful, and friendly. I highly recommend The VT Treehouse!
